compressed imap partition

Hi,

	Actually i have set quota to 50M by user but i would like provide them
a archive mailbox where their mail will be compressed automatically.
So,i search a way to compress a imap partition (or directly mail maybe)
to provide this functionnality to my users without buying lots of disk.
I am interested to know how people are resolved this problem. All
advices are welcome :-)
