Delivering to folders with spaces in the name

Hi all,

I am running cyrus-imapd 2.2.12 and I am trying to figgure out a way of 
delivering to subfolders when the names of the folders have embedded spaces.

For instance, how can I deliver to <user1+Sent Items at domain.com> when 
sendmail (Or Cyrus) replaces the embedded space with a dot? producing a like 
the following in my imap log.
duplicate_check: <200508082346.j78NfxX0010922 at domain.com> 
user.user1.Sent.Items

Is this doable?
