Cyrus: db log files are not deleted by Cyrus and restart Problems!

I have this very same problem. It began after I had some minor DB corruption
problems. The db_recover util got me out of trouble but the log files are no
longer being deleted.  

I suspect deleting /var/imap/db/* and dumping the mailboxes.db to a text
file and re-importing it with ctl_mboxlist might fix things up.  ?  

Perhaps someone else will let us know if this is a good idea or not...

i have a lot of log files in my Cyrus V2.1.3  db directory --> every day 2
log files with approx. 1Mb. 
 
It takes about 2h 30 min after i restarted the Cyrus to work properly,
because after the restart he´s doing a database recovery! The only
workaround i found, was to delete all files from the db directory and
restart the Cyrus, but his is a workaround and not a solution!  :-(

I also have an older Cyrus (V.2.0.16), which doess not have this problem.
