ipurge hanging on empty directory

Hi,

   I have a little spamassassin learning script, i noticed that when i 
try to purge the spam from my junk folder it fail if there is no mail in 
it :


ipurge -d 4 -f -C $PREFIX/etc/imap/imapd.conf  user.$user.junk

just hang up for empty mailboxes...Does any of you have the same behavior ?

   It took me some time to figure out why my cron was not finishing his 
job :)
