all processes fail with signal 9

No core dump is produced.  I am on Solaris 8 and /etc/coreadm.conf contains:

COREADM_GLOB_PATTERN=/var/core/%f.%p
COREADM_INIT_PATTERN=/var/core/%f.%p
COREADM_GLOB_ENABLED=yes
COREADM_PROC_ENABLED=yes
COREADM_GLOB_SETID_ENABLED=no
COREADM_PROC_SETID_ENABLED=no
COREADM_GLOB_LOG_ENABLED=yes

So I would expect to see files in /var/core.
