Don't know, but I did see very similar log messages on my llast Cyrus-IMAP
server, which worked until the harddisk died.

Can't help you there, I don't use MySQL.

In my imap server, using SuSE 8.2 binaries, that line in /etc/imapd.conf is;
lmtpunix cmd="lmtpd" listen="/var/spool/postfix/public/lmtp" prefork=1
Taken from /usr/share/doc/packages/cyrus - imapd/README.suse
Don't know if/how much of difference that will make.
