SASL PLAIN auth is failing...

I'm getting errors SASL PLAIN authentication failed and before that I
get 'error fetching from sasldb: Invalid argument'

Any ideas what would cause this...

In /etc/postfix/main.cf I have smtpd_sasl_security_options = noanonymous
