The fix you applied is described in cyrus documentation - see
http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus/download/imapd/install-virtdomains.html
Another way is to use "version B" of cf/mailer/cyrusv2.m4 which provides
cyrusv2d mailer (cyrusv2 with no domain stripping):
