postfix - cyrus-sasl - cyrus-imapd on RedHat

We just installed cyrus-imapd on a Redhat 9 machine using the distro 
version of cyrus-sasl. It is definately doing in SSL in our tests so far. 
Here is the package list:

cyrus-sasl-2.1.10-4
cyrus-sasl-plain-2.1.10-4
cyrus-sasl-md5-2.1.10-4
cyrus-sasl-devel-2.1.10-4
postfix-1.1.11-11
