This question is a bit stupid, I guess, but what the heck ...

For some reason it was somewhere suggested that it was better to specify 
the mailer in the .mc file (not the cyrusv2.m4 file!) like this:

MAILER_DEFINITIONS
Mcyrus,         P=[IPC], F=lsDFMnqA@/:|SmXz, E=\r\n,
                S=EnvFromL, R=EnvToL/HdrToL, T=DNS/RFC822/X-Unix, Q=local,
                A=FILE /var/lib/imap/socket/lmtp

LOCAL_RULE_0
Rbb + $+ < @ $=w . >    $#cyrus $: + $1

However, I have no idea where and why this was recommended. It's working 
just fine this way, but I'd like to know why. Any ideas?
