This sounds like a sendmail question to me, unless I'm reading it wrong.
If it is sendmail, and you have the "strings" command (part of the binutils RPM
on my Red Hat server) you can use it to show the printable characters contained
inside the db file:
strings /path/to/access.db
If your question wasn't sendmail related, I apologize...
