Hello,
Version Cyrus IMAP 2.1.12, SASL 2.1.13 on Solaris 7
Using saslauthd to authenticate with kerberos_5 as the mechanism.
When attempting to run the mupdatetest application it fails.
/local/imapd/bin # ./mupdatetest -a ershanno/root -m gssapi uni99map
S: * AUTH "DIGEST-MD5" "CRAM-MD5" "LOGIN" "PLAIN" "GSSAPI" "KERBEROS_V4"
"OTP"
S: * OK MUPDATE "uni99map.unity.ncsu.edu" "Cyrus Murder" "v2.1.12"
"(master)"
C: A01 AUTHENTICATE "GSSAPI" {676+}

failure: prot layer failure
And in the log on the mupdate server master puts this:
May 16 15:12:39 uni99map.unity.ncsu.edu mupdate[7951]: accepted connection
May 16 15:12:39 uni99map.unity.ncsu.edu mupdate[7951]: starting
cmdloop() on fd 7
May 16 15:12:40 uni99map.unity.ncsu.edu master[7943]: process 7951
exited, signaled to death by 11
Showing me that the mupdate process segfaulted.
If I specify plain instead of gssapi in the invocation of mupdatetest it
will ask me for my password and authenticate.
So, the big question is why?
