Trouble with LMTP

Hello all,
I've installed and configured a Postfix + Cyrus-IMAP combo. The only
thing left is the hand over of mails from Postfix to the Cyrus LMTP.
When testing manually with 'deliver' all works well. But when Postfix
tries to forward an incoming message I get the following error:
May 21 18:50:23 preston postfix/lmtp[22328]: DA6B010243:
to=<test at example.com>, relay=none, delay=3518, status=deferred (connect
to /var/lib/imap/socket/lmtp[/var/lib/imap/socket/lmtp]: Permission
denied)
For me, it look like the user that Postfix runs under has not the
appropriate rights to connect to the LMTP Unix-DomainSocket. A ll for
the socket gives this:
$ll lmtp
srwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 May 21 16:02 lmtp
So everyone should have sufficient access rights to access the socket.
Could anyone give me a hint what goes wrong and how to fix it or point
me to an useful documentation.
Thanks in advance
Tim Kettler
