Cyrus murder: a mupdate master does not allow creating of mailboxes to the backend.

Dear list members,

I'm trying to setup a cyrus-2.2.0-alpha in murder configuration. 

Now I've configured a backend server and a mupdate master server.

As I understand the concept, when I'm creating mailboxes on a backend with a 
cyradm tool, it consults with a mupdate master and if mupdate master allows 
creating of a mailbox, then it creates. 
At the moment both backend server and mupdate master are running on the same 
machine. There is no any mailboxes created yet.

Here is cyradm output:

Seems like mupdate does not like something in its configuration. 

Can anybody give me a hint what's wrong ? 
Especially what the log entry "Could not shut down filedescriptor 12: 
Transport endpoint is not connected" could mean ?
