mail problems

thanks for the ideas:

using openssl from the host machine worked fine, however when i try to
connect via SSL from my client, it tells me that the certificate is not
valid. (outlook express 5.04 Mac)

i am stumped...

here is my /etc/impad.conf (i dont have a /etc/cyrus.conf):
