cant login with sieveshell

Hi,

when I start sieveshell it asks me for the password, but alas I can't
login. it asks me a couple of times for the password.
what I can see in the auth.log is:

I cind of miss SASL here ... maybee this is the problem.
but if I telnet to port 2000

anybody got an idea ?
