unixhierarchysep: yes ?

Hi All

At present I am NOT using this function so my mailboxes conform to the
"cm user.test" addition function.

If I turn on "unixhierarchysep: yes" will this affect my current
mailboxes that have dot delimitations ?

I know that I will have to add new boxes "cm user/test/user" instead of
the dot.

I hope someone can advise me ASAP and thank you in advance for any help
