[ECE PhiBar] Startups in the Bay

Boris,

I applaud your decision and your courage. Lesser men would have given in in such a situation, but you held your ground. While your choice of phrase to allow your exit was less than perfect, under extreme duress such as that we can't expect you to supply your usual wit. What you gave was effective and was consistent with the expectations of those in our profession.

I'm all for buying women drinks, but Genevieve does not fit into that category. Let me provide proof. It is a well known fact that all women passionately hate the c-word (I do not dare mention it for fear of incurring years of bad female karma). On no less than two occasions, Genevieve referred to herself as said c-word without flinching. That's impossible for a woman to do, therefore Genevieve is not a woman. Q.E.D.

We can only guess what her motivations were in asking you for a drink. I will let that be known as one of life's mysteries.

I'm looking forward to carnival. I hope there are crazy straws.
