[Disksim-users] How to change the parameters in the /include/disksim/modules parameters files.

I suspect the parameter files you are looking at are part of the build
process and are overwritten and are not the parameter files you are looking
for.  The files that are loaded during the simulation are the .layout,
.parv, and .model files.  I recommend looking at those.
