Hi,

I have problems to get cyrus-sasl working. The testsuite returns:
Checking plaintext passwords... Failed with: sasl_checkpass() failed on
simple case

I have added the shadow user and it is also listed by sasldblistusers2.

I have version 2.1.21 under freebsd 5.4.

What may be the problem and how can I narrow it down?
