I agree.  The date should be in there and it should be in the exact
text format of the header - no point fiddling it.

I believe the duplicate DB is already storing an MD5 of a bunch of fields
as the 'key' anyway, so it doesn't really matter what you seed into the
MD5.  I'll have a proper look at the patches in a bit.  I'm on holiday
right now.
