Ken is the release engineer, not me, so he's considerably more able  
to discuss timelines.  Referring to the discussions on cyrus-dev:  
there are still a few blockers.  Patches have been submitted for all  
of them AFAIK.  Either the blocking status will need to be re- 
evaluated, the patches accepted, or the patches modified & accepted  
in order to move on.  I would expect an RC2 reasonably soon thereafter.

I don't think we've discussed how long RC2 (or RC3, if RC2 is found  
wanting) should remain available before 2.3.13 is released.  There  
has been a suggestion that the RC2 announcement should be made  
widely, so as to encourage more robust testing.
