New Buddy Boats:
Did you enjoy our buddy boats for OSU or miss out and want to join one now?
We are doing new buddy boats for Carnegie Classic. When you fill out this
form, you'll be assigned to one of these 'boats' which are a group of
dancers of mixed experience levels. It's our version of a 'big'/'little'
system, except they rotate for every competition so you can meet new
people! Each buddy boat will have a captain (bronze/silver or above), first
mate (any level), and some crew (any level). Sign up here!

Apple Picking:
Every fall the club heads out to Simmons Farm to go apple picking! There is
also animal petting, hay rides, and corn mazes! Please fill out this form

if you would like to join us. This year, we will depart around 1pm on

Rochester Dancesport Festival:
The club is open to sending dancers to Rochester Dancesport Festival,
hosted by James Chin at Lilac Dance Center on 10/19-10/20 (workshops 10/19,
competition 10/20). This competition is highly beneficial for anyone
looking to dance at Nationals in the spring, as adult dancers must qualify
for their events and collegiate dancers may receive an extra level (yay
more dancing!). Please fill out this form

Payment Information:
We hope you are having a great time taking lessons with us! Your first two
lessons (excluding rush) are free. After that, we ask that students pay $40
and non-students pay $90 in membership dues. This amount covers all the
lessons we offer for the entire Fall semester.
Please bring cash or a check to the table at the door or follow these
instructions to pay online. As a reminder, we cannot accept Venmo or Zelle
because of university policy.

Carnegie Classic:
We are hosting Carnegie Classic <https://carnegieclassic.com/>, our annual
home competition, this October 12th in our very own Rangos Ballroom! We
can’t wait to host competitors from over 20 colleges and adults from across
the nation. There will be a social dance Friday night, the competition
Saturday, and workshops from international champions (Maja Serve) along
with CMU BDC alumni mentoring sessions on Sunday.
We are looking for volunteers to help with our Carnegie Classic Competition
(October 11-13). We are so excited to be hosting this competition but we
can't do it without everyone's help! We have lots of opportunities for
volunteering, between picking up officials from the airport and acting as
Deck Captain during the competition!
Feel free to sign up for anything that seems interesting to you and
anything you would be willing to do - we won't double book you and will try

Alumni Mentoring/Maja Serve Workshops & Privates:
We are so excited to announce that we are offering free private ballroom
dance lessons with our talented alumni dancers! Most of these dancers are
at the champ level, competing at the highest amateur level, and they are
ready to share their expertise with you. Whether you’re a beginner or
looking to refine your skills, this is an incredible opportunity to learn
