Reminder Details

Buddy Boats:

At each of our competitions, there will be team housing, team dinners, and
lots of opportunities to support your favorite CMU BDC dancers, as well as
to meet dancers from other schools who will be in the competition! In
addition to that, we will also have buddy boats: buddy boats are small
groups that are assigned by the club where we are able to have both
newcomers and veterans to allow for feedback, support, and advice. Even
though buddy boats have already been announced, you can join at any time! Join
a Buddy Boat!

Carnegie Classic:

We are hosting Carnegie Classic, our annual home competition this October
12th in our very own Rangos Ballroom! We can’t wait to host competitors
from over 20 colleges and adults from across the nation. There will be a
social dance Friday night, the competition Saturday, and workshops from
international champions (Maja Serve) along with CMUBDC alumni mentoring
sessions on Sunday

We are looking for volunteers to help with our Carnegie Classic Competition
(October 11-13).We are so excited to be hosting this competition but we
can't do it without everyone's help! We have lots of opportunities for
volunteering, between picking up officials from the airport and acting as
Deck Captain during the competition!

Feel free to sign up for anything that seems interesting to you and
anything you would be willing to do - we won't double book you and will try
to get everyone the jobs they want! Sign up HERE!

<https://forms.gle/DNecY8Nod6q9yzmJ8>

Please fill out this form if you would like to help out the CMU Ballroom
team by hosting some dancers from other universities! It is pretty simple,
all you need is floor space and a bathroom for them to use. They will
basically sleep over Friday night and leave Saturday morning or Sunday
afternoon. If you have a couch or pillows for them, that's nice, but not
required. Sign up HERE! <https://forms.gle/WiQzV3SHs4oeZTPZ6>
