Newcomer Bootcamp:

New and eager to compete? You should be! There’s a dedicated competition
level just for you newcomers!

Even if you’re not sure yet, this fun afternoon will run through everything
you need to know to jump in for latin/standard dances at a competition. You
don’t need a partner. You definitely don’t need experience. Just show up
wearing something you can dance in. See you there this Sunday, 9/17 1-3pm
in CUC Keeler

Volunteer Opportunity:

The Society of Women Engineers is seeking volunteers for their STEM
fair Wednesday,
September 13th and Thursday, September 14th 10am-5pm EDT in the Wiegand Gym
and Rangos Ballroom in the Cohon University Center. You can read more about

of their appreciation, for every hour volunteered students will be able to
donate $10 to the CMU organization of their choice. If you’re interested,

Rounds @ Demidov Dance Studio

Thursday, September 14 and 21, 7:30-9:00 PM. ALL STYLES and LEVELS are
welcome.

Nutrition for Dancesport @ Demidov Dance

On Thursday, September 28, Demidov Dance Studio is having a Nutrition for
Dancesport seminar, led by former dancer and dietician, Ms. Ricci-Lee Hotz,
MS, RDN, LDN. RSVP at www.demidovdance.com/events. Cost is $30/person. All
dancers, competitive or social, are welcome to attend. Social hour to
follow until 9:30PM. A flyer is attached.

Partner Awareness for Dancers @ Apasionado

Workshop on Friday, Sept 22, 7:00-8:30pm. $20 ($12 for students).

Zouk Flow Night @ Los Sabrosos Dance Co.

Friday, Sept 15. Starting at 9 PM with a mini-lesson (ideal for beginners)
and ending at 12 AM, dancers of all levels can enjoy three hours of
non-stop Brazilian Zouk. Pricing:$15 - Mini-lesson & Social $10 - Social
