[CMUBDC] Ballroom Dance Club - Week of April 17th

[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Hello ballroom friends,

Hope that everyone enjoyed CMU’s Spring Carnival this past weekend,
including the showcase that some of our members put on! This week will be
our second-to-last week of lessons for the semester.

Thank you to everyone who voted in the officer elections this past week.
The results are in, and the CMUBDC board for the next year is:

Special elections will be held in the Fall to fill the remaining positions.

We are having an end-of-year social dance on Saturday at 7:00 PM in the
Connan room (first floor of the CUC)! Theme will be pajamas, so please come
dressed in your comfiest outfit. Not a requirement, of course, we’ll be
happy to see you there!

We're having our annual Spring Showcase on Monday, April 24th during the
usual social time (9:00 PM)! Dancers of all levels and styles are able and
encouraged to participate. If you’re interested in performing an
end-of-year showcase for the club, please fill out this form

CMU Ballroom has a tradition of writing notes to all graduating/departing
members of the club, which will be distributed at a potluck on Saturday,
May 6. If you are either a graduating member or willing to help out with

by Monday, April 24. If you’d like to write notes to graduating members,
Abby will have materials at lessons for the rest of the semester.

CMUBDC is considering ordering custom graduation stoles for our members. If
you are interested in purchasing one, please fill out this form
<https://forms.gle/GKdEUuDWLDtr4DUm9>! The more we purchase, the less
expensive it is per stole.

If you borrowed a team jacket or other outfit (e.g., vest or dress) from
the closet, please return it before the end of the semester! (Shoes are
fine to keep.) Officers will be available during lesson time to take people
up to the closet.
