[CMUBDC] Ballroom Dance Club - Week of April 25th

[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Hello Ballroom Friends,

Happy Sunday! It’s the last week of regular lessons for this semester, but
read on for more information this week!

General Announcements:

Membership Dues: Since the semester is wrapping up, any outstanding dues
must be paid this week. This includes fees for lessons, competitions,
jackets, etc.



Returning Team Items: If you’ve borrowed anything from the team in general,
they MUST be returned by the end of this semester. This includes team
jackets, dance socks, and any other borrowed items. Even if you want to use
previous items again next semester, they MUST be returned for the summer.



Additional Elections Info: Elections for both Comp Team Manager and Media
Manager will be held next Fall (more details to come when the dates get
closer). People interested in these positions are encouraged to attend
board meetings throughout the summer.



Summer Lessons(!): Summer lessons will be happening on Mondays and
Wednesdays from 5-9pm starting on May 18th. Veteran taught lessons will
occur from 5-6pm, and the rest of the time will be open practice space.
More info about location and specific lessons will be included in future
emails.



Rounds & Late Rounds: Please come to Rounds at 7:20pm both Monday and
Wednesday! It is a great time to practice what you’ve learned in lessons,
watch veteran dancers, and get introduced to what a competition might look
like. Late Rounds will also be occurring on Monday at 10:30pm!
