[CMUBDC] End of Rush update! Saturday lake trip, OSU comp for veterans

[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Dear dance friends,
Sorry for so many emails this week; I promise it will be down to 1.5
average per week after this week. Thank you to everyone who came to rush;
we are incredibly grateful that you came and brought such energy and
enthusiasm.

*LAKE ARTHUR TRIP:*
On Saturday, we (myself and Rachel Keeler) are planning a ballroom trip to
Lake Arthur for the day to kayak, paddleboard, sail, grill food, eat and be
merry. We are inviting anyone from our club, new or veteran, to attend.
Please message me or email me (message preferred if you have Facebook) if
you would like to attend; the price is $20 to cover canoe rentals and food.
Car space is limited so let me know soon; if you have a car to volunteer to
drive people please also let me know.

We will depart from Pittsburgh at 11am leaving from campus, and return when
people in your car are tired (cars can shuffle as needed). We will be
grilling all manner of burgers, veggie burgers, and more.

This competition is on September 11, and will last only 1 day. I would like
to see if some of our veteran members would like to attend together to
support their team as it is good to support our region's competitive
ballroom scene. If you would like to attend but have no partner at the
moment, message or email me promptly. The deadline was extended till this
Saturday just for us.

It will be a small competition but it should be fun to dress up again and
do what we used to do so often.
