[CMUBDC] Ballroom Lessons - Week of 2/10

Hello Ballroom friends,

*VERY IMPORTANT:* We are having the *SLICE Workshop today* on *Healthy
Communication and Relationships*. Please remember that this workshop
is *required
for competitors,* and *strongly encouraged* for the rest of our club
members. It will start promptly at *8:00 PM *and run to 9:00 PM in the *Rangos
Ballroom* of the UC.

Afterwards, at* 9:00 PM *we will be having a quick *social*! This will be a
great time to dance and discuss the workshop further if you would like to.

We are taking *payments* for the lessons. Please pay ASAP! We accept either
cash or check. Please make the check out to *Carnegie Mellon University*.
The pricing is on the form, but I am repeating it below for clarity. Please
let me know if you have any questions:

*Students* - $35 for Beginner Lessons (7:30 PM - 9:30 PM); $30 for
Intermediate/Gold Lessons

*Non-Students* - $80 for Beginner Lessons (7:30 PM - 9:30 PM); $75 for
Intermediate/Gold Lessons

*Salsa/Bachata* - $20 for one, $30 for both (9:30 PM - 10:15 PM)

Also, out annual *Scotch Ball* is coming up soon! Please reserve you ticket

The form must be filled out per individual. If you are paying for multiple
people, please specify with the tabler when you pay.

Competition this weekend! We were lucky enough to win first place at team
match! If you are* interesting in competing* with the CMU BDC Competition

at the *Wightman School* in Squirrel Hill; they will be* fundraising* for our

*Pricing:*

**Beginner dancers*: We recommend you attend both the professionally taught
newcomer lessons and the student taught beginner lessons. This membership
only costs a *flat $35 for students*, covering the entire semester! For
non-students, this fee is $80.

Upcoming Events and Announcements

*USA Dance Social* (Saturday, February 15, 2020: 7:00 PM, Wightman School)
