[CMUBDC] Ballroom SLICE Workshop

[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Hi ballroom friends,

It's no secret that being a ballroom dancer is technically and physically
challenging, but it’s also an important exercise in establishing
interpersonal relationships.

Therefore, we as a board have been working with SLICE to put together a
workshop on how to *create and maintain healthy communication and
relationships*. This workshop will be happening next *Monday, February 10,
at 8-9PM* in lieu of beginner lessons. We feel very strongly that everyone
could benefit from this workshop. As such, we are making this workshop
mandatory for competitors. *If you are attending Arnold or NCDC, you are
required to attend this.*

Even if you are not a competitor or believe you may have a strong
understanding on how to maintain healthy communication and relationships,*
we still highly encourage you all to attend* since the workshop will have
lots of very useful information for every member of our ballroom community.

If you absolutely cannot make it, please reach out to Jen, our president,
at jrx at andrew.cmu.edu

>From 9:00-9:30 PM after the workshop, we will be having a social which will
be a great time for members to dance, and reach out and talk about the
workshop with other dancers.
