Hello, Ballroom Friends!
We hope you've been having fun so far! You may have noticed that some
people wear special shoes for dancing in our lessons. Because some of you
asked how to obtain them, I wanted to let you about upcoming opportunities
to get them. There are two good options listed below. Please message me
with any questions!
Note: Shoes are *not required (optional)* for our Beginner lessons (you
can always dance in socks or street shoes) but are highly recommended.
They have a suede sole that allows you to glide and turn!!! If you plan on
dancing a lot you should consider investing in a pair of shoes. (For
competitors, you definitely need them.)
*Group Shoe Order (Form+Money Due: Sept. 27)*
Every year we present the opportunity to order shoes together in bulk for
cost. This provides a relatively economical option. For your shoes to be
ordered, you should fill out this form
<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfF7gCZfJLSv68nbZ5b6gKkEu5RtkQC8oYAJowlsOrLh0wo6g/viewform>
and bring money to Stephen by Sept 27. The shoes will take approximately
one month to arrive. (Late Oct.)
Choose this option if you want cheap shoes ($35) but don't mind waiting
until late October to receive them.
*VE Dance Vendors (Date: Wed., Oct. 11)*
Vendors from VE Dance will be coming to our lessons in Rangos on Wed., Oct.
11. They will be selling a variety of high quality dance shoes, clothing,
and other items that you can buy on the spot. They can help you find the
right fit for you.
Choose this option if you want better quality shoes, a chance to try them
on, and to receive them sooner. They do cost slightly more ($65-$75/pair
for newcomer shoes).
Happy Dancing,
Stephen Kruzick
