Alice may become unstable when working with large file sizes and limited RAM. If the program starts behaving unexpectedly, encourage students to save their work immediately. It’s also important to save frequently and create multiple versions of their projects. That way, they’ll have backup files to rely on in case of a crash or other issue.

Carlos, I don’t see it happen in class too much, but the students report crashes while working on homework projects. I remind them that Alice saves backup files, so they may not have lost everything. They are in the same folder as the project, with the Alice project name as the name of the backup folder.
