alice-teacher Alice on Chrome Books? (Marcia Viqueira)

I just want to add that even though my district is purchasing Chromebooks for students (without teacher input) I will not be using them in my classroom because they are so limiting. I also teach AP Computer Science (DrJava, BlueJ, etc.) and Chromebooks would not work for that class. They are cheap devices that districts feel will get them to a 1 to 1 environment inexpensively at the startup but for the long haul may not be so inexpensive.
