alice-teacher Scene change in Alice 3.1.92

Alice Level 3 will eventually support the ability to create separate and distinct scenes. But at this time, the best technique is to use camera markers to create different points of view in a project that show different scenes, in the same environment (think Hollywood sound stage.) This is the technique used in Alice Level 2, and you might look at the following YouTube demonstration of this technique for Alice 2.

It should be noted that camera markers in Alice Level 3 have somewhat different behaviors, and so it will be worth your while to review those differences in this YouTube demonstration:

Here is a YouTube link to a video of a world that we created with multiple scenes, for Alice’s visit to Wonderland (WonderlandArrival_Music). I have also attached a copy of that world for your review.

I have also attached another, simpler project (MultipleScenesDemo). This project:
	- opens with a view of a jungle scene
	- jump cuts to an island scene (you will note that I changed the ground texture from grass to ocean),
	- jump cuts back to the jungle scene
	- fades to black on the jungle scene, and then fades in on the island scene

I hope that this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

All the best,

I have learned this at least by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.
