No, I don’t think Alice 2 has anything like type introspection. There is no way I know of that you can ask a question like “Is this object a penguin?” You would have to simulate it using something that all objects have, such as height.

Today I taught my students what introspection was, but I told them that ALICE doesn’t have introspection.  I was actually just guessing.  Can any experienced people tell me if I guessed right?
