Eric, I have the similar problems, but with convincing adults. Try to do a
curriculum begining with making movies and then coding with Alice 2.x. Then
put into curriculum java script, and after this Alice 3.x . Principle who
have a math background and did not coding every day can not judge about
coding. You need to include an object orientation coding theory into yout
curriculum. If this is not enought you are probably working with politic
which is not keen to the computer science.
