alice-teacher Linking different worlds

There are 2 issues here.

1 Are you trying to link worlds from 2 (or more) different worlds
or
2. trying to create a second world in the first world?

In the second instance, refer to the tutorial (princess in the tower where the dragon captures the princess and then the scene shifts to a knight on a horse in a new scene and travels into the first scene

In instance 1, I was able to open 2 instances of Alice on the same computer and set the scene with the same objects. I was not able to drag/drop or paste from one clipboard to the other

>Assuming that I understand what you want to do, I think your best bet would be setting up a new dummy camera in a position that doesn't have a view of any of your other objects (there's a nice tutorial called "scene change" if you can't figure this out at http://www.cs.duke.edu/csed/alice09/tutorials.php ). Then, you can move the ground near your camera like any other object, and change it's texture (under properties) to fit the type of ground you want. At the same time, you can change the atmosphere color (under world properties) to a color that better fits your new scene.

>That should be enough to fit your needs. If you've already tried all that and it's not sufficient, maybe someone else knows a better way to do this.
