Dear Paul,
 
We did that, we up date the Java but the up date do not work with the Alice version that she used for her story. We still trying to figure out waht is wrong. The story is runing but when she run the scene again slow down. We looked again at the tutorials step by step to looking foward to found answer on  how we can fix this. if you have another suggestion we will really appreciate.

Deedee,

I have a student who had a similar issue, and they were able to correct it by updating their version of Java. I have attached a screenshot, somewhat similar to what your student is experiencing. Hope this helps.

I have a student who is experiencing problems with Alice 2.3.  When adding some objects to the screen, the objects will not show completely or in the attached example the world window has lines going through it so I am not able to see what is in it.
 
Any suggestions?
