I have found that using the textbook "Learning to Program with Alice" by Dunn, Cooper and Pausch very helpful for Alice 2.3.

For Alice 3.1 I like "Learning Java through Alice" by Daly and Wrigley. There is also some nice resources on Curriki written by Oracle.

I was wondering that myself for Alice 2.3. I've gleaned a lot from working with it over the past year and from frantically searching the internet, but it would be nice to have something more detailed, complete and compact.

Hi

I am hoping to be able to get access to a reference manual that would
provide me with definitions for all methods/procedures and functions
provided in Alice. Does such a manual exist?

Regards,
