I am so sorry… It seems that I inadvertently sent a message to the list that was intended for an individual instructor who wished to join the list…

You do not need to verify your credentials to belong to the list. If you have been receiving the postings, and in fact, if you received the mis-directed message, you are a member in good standing and you can simply ignore the request. We have other mechanism's in place that plow us to prune the list when necessary.
