alice-teacher Alice 3.0 and Windows 64bit?

The computers in my lab are currently being updated so I thought it might be a good idea to update to the most current version of Alice as well.  However, Alice 3.0 doesn't "see" that Java is installed on the computers and immediately throws an error message.  Is anyone else having problems with this and/or know how to fix it??
