alice-teacher Clipboard problems

Hello



We are using Alice 2.3 on a Windows 7 system.  I have noticed that when I set up the clipboard sizes in the preferences, when I open an Alice file, the clipboards are sometimes doubled and sometimes they have added different numbers of clipboards other than what the preferences were set for.  It never seems to stay at the 5 I entered into the preferences.  Can you tell me why?  I never had this problem in the 2.2 version
