alice-teacher Summer Camp request

This course does not use Alice, but the University of California,
Berkeley provides all of the course materials for their introductory
computer science curriculum (CS 10) online, including videos of the
lectures and lab exercises. It uses Snap (previously known as BYOB)
which is an extended form of the Scratch programming language (sort of
like Alice in 2D instead of 3D).

It's all freely available without obligation or registration for
anyone who wants to work through the course.

I have used selected parts of the material to teach a mixed group of
4th to 6th graders.

I think an 8th grader who was enthusiastic about the material could
work through the lab exercises on their own, possibly even without
watching the videos.

I have a master's degree in Computer Science, and I think the lab work
does a good job of covering the basic introductory topics --
encapsulation, abstraction, recursion, algorithms, lists -- in a fun
way.

There are now four semesters of the class materials available:

I would love to see something similar available for Alice.
