Try style=abruptly for each of your steam movements. It's waiting for the
animation to come to a halt slowly before starting the next loop, then
starting the next part slowly.

Some other things to try:
 - You may want to decrease the opacity as the smoke rises so that it looks
like it's dissipating.
 - try placing the steam rising in independent loops, and have them offset
by a second or so. This way there is always something rising from the
turkey.
 - you may want to add other steam assets to cover the turkey a little more.
 - try moving the point of steam exit for each steam asset so that it's not
as noticeable that the steam is a flat.
 - try changing the steam's initial position to inside the turkey, so when
it resets back to the original position it isn't as noticeable that the
steam is starting again.
