I teach 6th and 7th grade pre-engineering. I use Alice as an intro to computer programming for my 6th graders. Every quarter I have several students who read several grades below reading level. I love the tutorials from the Adventures in Alice (Durham, NC) and feel they are easy for my 6th graders to follow.

I found that many of my low readers were struggling with the directions. I created a LiveBinder with the tutorials and videos. I am still in the process of adding more. These videos were primarily for them. However, I found that all my students liked using them. If you are not familiar with LiveBinders, they have tabs at the top and then usually subtabs once you open the tab. You will see a link in the subtab for the video for each tutorial.

Just thought I would share. Any feedback is welcome.
