alice-teacher Alice Error - One object corrupts entire program

I have had kids projects crash, and it seems that one object isn't working properly and it corrupts the entire file.  By changing the .a2c to zip I can get access to the elmentdata.xml file.  This file shows the names of the objects in the program.  Is there any way to use this file or others to delete the problem object so that the program will load correctly.
