alice-teacher New release of Alice version 2.2

The newest release of Alice 2.2 for Windows and Mac users, dated Dec 1, 2011, has been posted to the the Alice website, 

	http://www.alice.org/index.php?page=downloads/download_alice2.2. 

This release includes the following improvements and bug-fixes:

	• Created a new sound recorder for Alice. New sound recorder allows user to pause while capturing and playing sound.
	• Changed the look and feel for the MAC to fix the pop up bug. Pop up no longer appears behind the world window.
	• Fixed the preferences menu. Changes are now saved in the preferences file.
	• Fixed missing preferences file bug. Alice will create a new preferences file if one does not exits.
	• Fixed a bug that prevented users from using the set___to property in variables/parameters.
	• Added a texture map folder, all the ground texture maps and a image preview to the texture map importer.
	• Replaced the jmf.properties file that was causing a sound problem.
	• Fix a bug that prevent user from using a global variable/function in the condition section of an "if statement".
	• Watch variable feature now works on both local and global variable/properties.
	• Fixed the take picture feature on MAC. (Removed in the August update because it was returning a null pointer error)
