Never ignore the possibility of a hardware problem. I have seem systems where the power to the fan was loose and the computer overheated at times of heavy CPU load.

My computer does not overheat, but sometimes Alice does not start or it returns an error and I have to restart it.
Surely there is a bug (I am referring to the Alice version 2.2).

I have a student who says that he installed Alice on his computer at home, but every time he opens Alice, it runs for a few minutes and then the computer overheats. I'm skeptical, but I'm wondering whether anyone has experienced (or heard of) such a phenomenon.
