alice-teacher Repositories? (was: Examples of student projects)

Excellent point! Textbook vendors do this sort of thing. When I
request the supplemental material for a textbook, I must tell them where
I teach, my email address and sometimes a desired user name, and they
respond with an email containing a password or keycode that I need to
use to gain access. That is likely a full-time job for someone because
they would need to verify that every requester is indeed a teacher.
Building the repository with an organized, user-friendly,
easy-to-find-what-I-need interface would be no easy task; finding
someone to be the gatekeeper who would check out all new user requests
would be an added staffing issue.

Has anyone used any of the general-purpose repositories for educational
materials (http://oerwiki.iiep-unesco.org/index.php?title=Repositories)?
EducaNext states that it requires registered users. Might one of them
be adopted as "the one" that Alice users use?

If this were to be hosted on the Alice site as you suggest, I'd like to

recommend that it be locked down so that instructors could request
access but students would not. It's all too easy for a student to
download complete solutions and just pass it in as their own!

I would be more than happy to share my own solutions to any of my
assignments that I use directly to other teachers, but I don't post
them
online as I want to use them again!
