We will have Zainab Iftikhar, a PhD candidate from Brown University,  
joining us as guest speaker remotely for the next accessibility lunch.  
(https://zainabiftikhar.com) Abstract: The talk will be about the speaker's  
work on mental health accessibility and the need to recognize the absence  
of mental health services as a disability. In contrast to psychosocial  
disability, they will discuss the concept of "access to care" disability  
that pertains more to institutional or systemic barriers rather than an  
individual's psychological impairment. It signifies the challenges  
individuals face in obtaining necessary mental health support due to  
structural limitations within healthcare systems. The talk will explore  
research on alternate ways to make mental health support accessible by  
design, content, and agent. For reference:
